History

Elastotet was founded in 1970. It is the first Greek company which specializes both in the manufacturing and application of, mainly, 2-component sealants.

Until the mid-80s, the company produced sealants and undertook the task of applying them at major public works, such as at the Mornos Dam and the irrigation networks of all the major rivers of Northern Greece.

Since then, Elastotet has consolidated its position in the market of sealants and waterproofing materials in Greece by providing their services, products and know-how to major public construction works domestically.

Activity – Commercial Sector

Elastotet produces and distributes a wide range of high quality sealants directed to professionals in various sectors, as well as to DIY retail shops. It produces a complete range of sealants, adhesives and surface coatings (acrylic, silicone, polyurethane, hybrid), PU foams, color sprays, etc.

The commercial range is distributed through a network of wholesalers and distributors to paint shops, aluminium frame parts shops, insulating and construction materials shops, as well to professional end users like construction companies, aluminium frame, solar heater constructors, etc.

ELASTOTET S.A currently exports to a large number of countries, especially countries of the Balkan Peninsula, Cyprus and the Middle East.

Activity – Construction sector

Elastotet, apart from a wide range of products which cover the needs of the construction sector, has the necessary experience to render high quality services and provide its customers with integrated solutions to any construction problem. Its products have been used in the construction of Athens Metro, of Attiki Odos and Evinos Dam. Today, its products have been used successfully in the following projects:

  1. Extension of Suburban Railway (Proastiakos)
  2. Upgrading of the Elefsina refinery
  3. Construction of highway connecting Korinthos – Tripolis – Kalamata.
  4. Maintenance of parts of Attiki Odos
  5. Upgrading of railway tracks of Athens Piraeus Electric Railways (ISAP)
